A Matching Game Adventure

Today, we introduced a matching game using 12 wooden slices, each featuring illustrations of different animals like butterflies, dogs, rabbits, and foxes. The slices were made from recycled wood, repurposed from a Christmas tree, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability. The children explored the game both individually and in groups.

One child was especially eager to try it out, listening carefully to the rules before jumping in. Partway through, they decided to switch activities, showing how children’s interests naturally shift during play.
