Autumn Obstacle Course

Autumn is our topic, and the children were quick to jump in, explaining during autumn leaves change colour and fall off trees.

After reading a book about autumn, we went out to the field together and gathered natural resources to make an autumn obstacle course. The children gathered sticks and picked up leaves that had fallen off the trees.

Bringing them back to the nursery, the children helped build our obstacle course using what we had discovered in the field to have a wonderful time balancing, jumping and, of course, falling over.
