Forest School Thursdays

Updated: Mar 18

Forest School Thursdays 🌳

Today we all joined in the caravan to do some nature threading. We had a chat about what a needle was and what they are used for. We then walked over to the field in the rain to find some leaves to thread with. Once we had collected some leaves we headed back to the caravan to begin our activity.

During Forest School , the children look forward to:

  1. Exploring: Guided by our educators, children will have the chance to explore, discovering hidden treasures, observing wildlife, and engaging with the natural environment.

  2. Nature-Based Activities: From building forts and shelters to creating nature art and scavenger hunts, children will enjoy a variety of engaging activities that foster creativity and problem-solving skills.

  3. Outdoor Learning: Forest School offers unique opportunities for outdoor learning across various subjects, including science, math, literacy, and more. Through hands-on exploration and discovery, children will deepen their understanding of the world around them.

  4. Building Confidence and Resilience: Spending time in nature has been shown to boost children's confidence, resilience, and overall well-being. Forest School will provide a safe and supportive environment for children to take risks, overcome challenges, and develop important life skills.

We believe that Forest School Thursdays will be a valuable addition to your child's educational experience, offering countless opportunities for growth, learning, and fun in the great outdoors.
