From Garden to Table


Did you enjoy your lunch today? We certainly did! Oyster mushroom risotto with roasted Jerusalem artichoke and salad greens all picked from our nursery garden.


Before we left for the festive period, the children grew the oyster mushrooms by inoculating cardboard. They were delighted to harvest them today along with the Jerusalem artichoke they planted in the summertime and picked the salad greens from our polytunnel.
